Where your text goes. This app itself stores nothing: no account, no database, no history, no analytics, no cookies. What you type is held in your browser until you close the tab.
On Cloud, your text is transmitted for processing to Groq (United States), which does not train on API inputs or outputs and, with Zero Data Retention enabled, does not log them. If Groq is rate-limited or unavailable, the same text may instead be sent to Google Gemini. Google's terms differ: on the unpaid tier, submitted content may be used to develop and improve their products and may be reviewed by humans — except for users in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK, where paid-tier data terms apply throughout. Each result names the provider that produced it.
On Local, the text is processed by a model running on the same machine as the app and is never transmitted anywhere. Local requests never fall back to a cloud provider; if the local model is unavailable the request fails instead.
Your responsibility. “Not collected” is not the same as “guaranteed private”. Cloud mode transmits your text to third parties operating under their own terms, which may change and are outside this project's control, and no data-processing agreement is in place with either of them. You are responsible for what you submit. Do not paste passwords, API keys or other credentials; personal data about customers, employees or anyone else; financial, health or other special-category data; material covered by an NDA or confidentiality obligation; or anything your employer's policy on third-party AI services prohibits. If in doubt, use Local, or don't submit it.
No warranty. Suggestions are generated by a language model. They can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently misleading, and may alter the meaning of what you wrote — always read the output before sending it. This is not legal, professional or linguistic advice.
